10 Important Required Documents For Clearance Of Admitted Students You Should Know

Upon resumption of academic activities, all newly admitted students offered Admission will be required to undergo a physical screening/clearance to validate their admission into the school.

Below are some of the documents you will be required to provide and other information you need to know concerning the Screening exercise.

*1. Certificate Of Birth:* if you don’t have a Birth Certificate, you can use your Baptismal Certificate/Card or you go to a nearby court and get an affidavit for age decleration.

*2. Jamb Admission Letter:* in this one, you will pay a thousand naira only through ATM or Bank Service to print out your Jamb Admission Letter from JAMB website.

*3. Jamb Result Slip:* you can use ordinary print out or the one that has your passport on it.

*4. Letter Of Attestation:* this letter will be coming from your parents, any family members, your traditional ruler, your pastor or rev’d or anyone that knows you well. The letter should be addressed to the registrar of your school.

*5. L.G.A Identification Letter:* Letter from your L.G.A showing that you are a true son/daughter of a particular place. You can get this letter from your L.G.A heardquarters.

*6. Ordinary Level Result:* In this one, you can present or use ordinary print out during your clearance. You are at liberty to combine not more than 2 SSCE results during your clearance.

*7. Passport Photograph:* This one, you are required to bring a clear passport of yourself.

*8. Your School Jack file:* This is your school owned file, you can get it @ the school main gate or your department/faculty.

*9. Your Screening Registration Slip:* This is that acknowledgement slip you printed out that day you bought and processed Your School Screening Form.

*10. Screening Result:* the one that contains your screening score. If you have misplaced yours, just go to a cafe, open Screening portal and input your Jamb registration number and your Screening result checker pin and print it out.

*GENERAL POINTS TO NOTE*

Your faculty/department will provide the arrangement order for you. Also, to safe your time against lectures, duplicate these documents into THREE places, buy THREE  jack files and attach each of them.

Finally, other necessary documents like ‘Letter Of Undertaking’ etc. Will be provided to you after the submission of first file.

Implications Of Using A Different Names, False Result And State For Exam & Registration

The latest trends we have been observing for some time now is closely related to the use of false information intentionally and unintentionally by some scholars.
It’s however certain that for every false information you fill during jamb,post utme or waec registration, there will always be a bad side of it and the consequences may be lighter or greater that expected.

The repercussion will be discussed briefly below.

False result you might have edited or submitted false information about your result to meet the school standard.
Well, this is surly not a good idea and it can’t be nothing but bad in all ramifications.

Using a false result may not give you any problem now but a bigger problem is actually waiting ahead.

After your graduation Most institution will confirm the result and will also request for the original result before your certificate can be issue to you and if detected the result you presented earlier is false, your admission will be terminated and the number of years, money, energy spend in the institution will be wasted.

So, it’s highly advised to desist from using false result to pursue admission.

This is very common and it’s need a very urgent attention, for instance in your Wace result the name that appeared on it is”john moses paul”and your jamb result is”john moses silas ”
Even without been told you should be aware you have invited trouble but the good news ahead is that the aforesaid problem can be resolved.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, you need to make a court affidavit to support the differences in the two names.
You must accept that you are the bearer of the names on the two result.
With the above step you are likely not to have any problem.

False state; if you used a wrong state, the repercussion is simple and clear.

Your will be force to claim another man state and you may not be able to claim your state.

You will continue to claim a wrong state for the rest of your life.

1.  Is Jamb 2019 Registration Form Out?

2. When Will Jamb 2019 Registration Form Be Released?

Jamb 2019 registration form will be out between October 31st 2018 and early December. This is according to the JAMB registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede.

He said: “We are on with the 2018/2019 admission exercise. This, we started a month ago. We believe by the end of October, we would begin the 2019/2020 admission”.

3. How much Is Jamb 2019 Registration form?

Jamb 2018 registration form was #6,200 including the registration fee, the Use of English reading text and the CBT centre charge.

The JAMB registrar has insisted that the price for JAMB 2019/2020 form will not be reduced.

He said: “Why are they not asking asking WAEC to reduce fee? Why are they not asking NECO? Why JAMB? We charge the least and you are saying reduce”.

4. Where Can I Register For Jamb 2019?

Once the registration form is out, you’ll be able to register at Jamb accredited centers nationwide.

You are not allowed to register for JAMB 2019 at any cyber cafe. Registration should be done only at CBT accredited centres.

5. When Can I Register For Jamb 2019?

Once registration commences, candidates will be informed to register at accredited centers nationwide.

6. Do I need Jamb Profile For Jamb 2019 Registration?

How To Gain Admission Into Any Nigerian University In 2018

Every student wants to gain admission immediately after their secondary school education. While some have been able to achieve this, others have not. In this article, I am going to show you how to gain admission into Nigerian universities.

Let me shock you. Out of more than a million candidates that apply for admission yearly, only 30% will be admitted. What happens to the remaining 70%?, they stay at home for additional 1 or more year(s). This is what every aspirant want to avoid.

In this article, I’ll list 5 Factors that will determine your admission status in 2018. I will also give you what you need to merit these 5 Factors and gain admission in 2018.

HOW TO GAIN ADMISSION INTO NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES

1. O’LEVEL RESULT 

This is the first factor that will determine your admission status in 2018. If you really want to gain admission into Nigerian universities, it is necessary you clear your SSCE papers(WAEC/NECO/GCE). Also, it is better to clear your result in one sitting than using combined two sittings. This will give you a higher chance of gaining admission in 2018. In fact, some Federal Universities like UI, OAU, UNIBEN, UNILAG don’t accept two sittings.

Another thing you need to know is that the era of C’s is over. Having credits in your WAEC/NECO/GCE result may reduce your chance of gaining admission in 2018. 2. YOUR JAMB SCORE

This is the another important examination that will determine your admission status in 2018. Your JAMB score in 2018 is the first ranking factor that will determine your admission status in 2018. Let me explain this to you.

If you are aspiring to study at schools like UI, UNILAG, UNIBEN, OAU, you must not score less than 200 in JAMB. That is the minimum cut-off mark irrespective of your course. Even if you want to study Arabic in these schools, there is no admission once you score less than 200. That is why you need to prepare for JAMB very well. 3. YOUR POST-UTME SCORE

This is the third and final examination you will sit for to gain admission in 2018(though some schools don’t conduct it). If you have good O’LEVEL result and very high JAMB score,  you still need a high Post-UTME score to gain admission in 2018.
