UI Post-UTME Screening Dates, 2018/2019 Out

The University of Ibadan (UI) Post-UTME Screening date for the 2018/2019 academic session has been announced by the management of the university.


All prospective UTME candidates who have successfully logged in to the university's portal to submiit their bio-data/ credentials and the general public are hereby informed that the post-UTME screening will hold on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September, 2018.

Further information regarding the venues and Day/Time alotted toeach candidates will be released in due course. Candidates are therefore advised totake note of these dates and prepare adequately for the screening exercise.

Candidates are also to check this website regularly before the screening dates in order to know their allotted time and date for the screening.

UNIABUJA Post-UTME/DE 2018: Cut-off mark, Eligibility And Registration Details

UNIABUJA Post-UTME/DE registration, Cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost and other relevant details for the 2018/2019 academic session have been announced. Cut-off mark is 180. Application cost is N2000. Deadline is September 7th, 2018. Full details below;

The general public is hereby notified that the registration exercise for the Post-UTME screening/ admission exercise for the 2018/2019 academic session begins on 1st August, 2018 and ends on 7th September, 2018 on the University of Abuja 2018 Post-UTME Screening Portal- www.uniabujautme.com/putme.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the screening exercise, the candidate must have:
1) Participated in the 2018 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied through Direct Entry (DE) mode.
2) Scored not less than 180 marks in the 2018 UTME.
Possess at least five “O” level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
3) The candidate must have chosen University of Abuja as first choice in the 2018 UTME.
Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only), through Remita Platform via the University of Abuja 2018 Post-UTME Screening Portal.

How to Apply for University of Abuja Post UTME Screening
Before commencement of registration, a Candidate is required to have his/her JAMB/ UTME registration number and O’Level examination qualifying details handy with the respective results check scratch card details before proceeding to commence this application.

1. Visit the University of Abuja 2018 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.uniabujautme.com/putme and create your profile.
2. To create your profile, fill the opened form as follows:
a. Input your JAMB/ UTME registration number.
b. E-mail Address (Username)
c. Phone number
d. Create a Password.
3. Click [Proceed]
4. Make your payment by Clicking on the “[Proceed]” button. Kindly note that you shall be re-directed to the Remita payment platform. The only acceptable payment option is by ATM.
ATM Payment Procedure:
a. Click [pay to proceed icon]
b. Select card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
c. Upon Confirmation, click proceed
d. On unified payment-Enter card details and click OK
e. Authentication SMS will be sent to your phone
f. Enter the OTP number received and click submit
g. After making the payment, go back and log to the university of Abuja site- www.uniabujautme.com/putme with your username (JAMB/ UTME registration number) and password.
5. Candidates are required to provide information about their O’Level results. Please note that this stage is critical, as any incorrect information a candidate provides shall result in outright disqualification of the candidate.
a. Fill in the results check scratch card details for the applicable O’Level examination body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
b. Candidate specifies mode of entry, that is, UTME or DE
c. The candidate selects the Course and Faculty/ College he /she had chosen in the 2018 UTME exercise.
d. On selection of the course the Candidate applied for in the displayed form, a list of requisite subjects applicable to that course appears.
e. Fill in the grades in the drop-down table. Again note: incorrect information shall result in outright and automatic disqualification of the candidate.
f. Candidate then clicks on the “[Submit]” Button.
g. Candidate may repeat steps 5 a. – c. in situation where the candidate combines results.
Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed
6. Candidates should note:
a) The O’Level results fetched in this process and used by the candidate to fill this online screening form is what shall be presented for verification, if the candidate is admitted.
b) Any discrepancy between results entered at this stage and credentials presented for verification at point of admission into the programme, shall invalidate the candidate’s provisional admission.
7. Kindly note that O’Level results and number of sittings are weighted.
8. After a candidate fills the form, they accept the “Terms and Conditions” by clicking on the submit button and can take print out after executing the “[Submit]” button. Return to the University of Abuja 2018 Post UTME Screening website within a week to check for your results.

1. I confirm that I have read through and understood the information contained in this screening process.
2. I have paid the prescribed charge of N2.000.00 only in the Remita Platform via this website.

NABTEB Nov/Dec GCE Registration, 2018 Has Commenced

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) NOV/DEC GCE registration for 2018 has commenced. See the registration and exam guide below;
This entry guide is issued with other documents for Nov/Dec Certificate Examinations. It contains instructions for easy online registration.
PURCHASE OF REGISTRATION PINs/SLOTs:
Registration PINs/Slots for the above named examinations for private candidates are available for purchase at:
a. NABTEB Zonal Offices in Abuja, Kaduna, Yola, Osogbo, Enugu and Benin
City,
b. NABTEB Liaison Office in Abuja,
c. NABTEB Area Office in Lagos,
d. NABTEB State offices Nationwide and
e. NABTEB National Headquarters, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City.
Approved NABTEB centres are free to enter candidates for the examinations but they should obtain Registration PINs/Slots for each candidate from the designated selling points.
Candidates may also visit the Board’s web-site at https://novdec.nabtebnigeria.org/.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
a. Entries that do not conform with the Board’s regulations would be rejected.
b. The Board will ensure that examinations take place as provided on the Timetable at various centres. However, changes if any, will be communicated to candidates through the mass media or through their centres.
Candidates are strongly advised to check for such vital information at their centres/NABTEB
web-site at least three (3) days before the commencement of the examinations.
c. The Board reserves the right to cancel or withhold the results of any candidate in whole or in part for reasons connected with examination malpractice and irregularities.
d. The Board, its employees or agents shall be relieved from all responsibilities, for any injury, delay, loss or damage however caused and of whatever kind, arising/resulting directly or indirectly from any action, neglect or default on their part while acting in the course of or connection with the Board’s
Examinations.
e. The Board may reject the scripts of any candidate in any paper for which the candidate has not been duly registered.
f. Only three (3) changes would be allowed for trades/subjects after registration. However, no change would be allowed for Bio-data entries.
MATERIALS ALLOWED FOR THE EXAMINATIONS:
a. All candidates are required to supply their own pen, pencil, eraser, ink, ruler, and mathematical set.
b. Drawing Materials: Candidates are required to provide their own drawing board, Tee-square, metric scale ruler and other drawing instruments. They are also allowed to use slide rules during the examination if the need arises.
c. The use of simple, non-programmable, noiseless and cordless calculator is allowed.
d. Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination Hall with GSM hand-set and other electronic gadgets.
DATE AND TIME OF EXAMINATION
a. It is imperative for candidates to check the date and the time of commencement of their papers from examination Time-table and their examination centre or from the Board’s website.
Generally, morning papers commence at 9.00 a.m., and candidates are to arrive at their examination centres at least half an hour before the commencement of each paper.
b. No candidate is allowed to leave the hall, unless on confirmed health ground, until 30 minutes to full time for a 3-hour paper or 10 minutes to full time for an objective paper. Where a health problem is confirmed, the centre supervisor is under instruction to ensure that question paper and other worked materials are not taken out of the examination hall. Similarly, no candidate is allowed into an examination hall 30 minutes after the commencement of.
COMMENCEMENT OF EXAMINATION
All practical/oral tests are expected to commence at 9.00 a.m. as indicated on the Time-table.
Candidates must report at the centres where they are expected to write their practical/oral examination at the scheduled time on the Time-table.
Candidates are required to produce their Admission print out each time they report for a paper.
CONDUCT WITHIN EXAMINATION HALL
Candidates are expected to conduct themselves properly while in the examination
hall. Candidates found guilty of disorderly behaviour in the examination hall would be expelled from the centre.
COMPLETION OF EXAMINATION MATERIALS AND HANDLING OF FACILITIES
All Candidates must write their names, centre numbers, candidates’ numbers and paper codes, on answer booklets, objective answer sheets, graph sheets, drawing sheets, and continuation sheets, etc in all their papers. Candidates are advised not to use office pins to secure their papers. Twine would be supplied by the supervisor or invigilator on request. Candidates should exercise great care in the use of furniture and equipment during the examination. They are reminded that the cost of repairs or replacement of any damaged property would be borne by those responsible for such damages.
EXAMINATION RULES
a. Examination Malpractice Act No. 33 of 1999: The attention of candidates is hereby drawn to the provisions of Examination Malpractice Act No. 33 of 1999 which provide stiff penalties for examination malpractice. Candidates are therefore warned to desist from actions that would breach the provisions of the Act.
b. Candidates are not allowed to bring textbooks, scripts or plain sheets of paper into the hall, except materials which they have been specifically told to bring for the examination.
c. Candidates must not communicate with each other during the examinations.
Candidates wishing to ask questions should draw the attention of the supervisor/invigilator by raising their hands.
d. The Board does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, bags, or other property which candidates bring to the examination centre.
e. A candidate who disobeys any of these instructions may be asked to discontinue his or her work, by the supervisor who is under instruction to report such disobedience to the Board.
f. Where examination officials or school authorities are involved in Examination malpractice or irregularities, candidates may report directly to the Board with proof.
COMPLAINTS/ APPEALS
Candidates are allowed to make formal complaints/appeals with regard to specific examinations and other sundry matters based on the following guidelines.
a. Complaints/appeals relating to registration and related matters must be received before the close of registration.
b. All complaints on results and related matters must be received not later than six (6) months after the release of results.
c. Complaints received after this period will not be entertained.
d. Letters of complaints/appeals should be addressed to Registrar/Chief Executive, NABTEB, Benin – City indicating full name, registration and Centre name/number, type and year of examination, current location/postal address, GSM number, e-mail (if available) and other relevant information.
PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS
Candidates for practical examinations are required to provide their own tools. In the case of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), candidates may be allowed to provide their own computers/laptops. Candidates are expected to exercise great care in the handling and use of the machines and tools provided by their centres. Cutting list for practical papers would be sent to centres and candidates are to make individual arrangement with the principals/properietors of
their centres for the procurement of materials for their practical papers for which they are to pay.
The cost of the material(s) needed for each practical paper will be calculated by the Board and sent to centres. Candidates are free to demand for this from the Principals/Proprietors of their centres who are under instruction to make them available to candidates who may wish to make private arrangement to get the materials for practical papers. Candidates are therefore strictly advised to go to
their centres at least one week before the commencement of their papers in order to make proper arrangement for the procurement of materials for practicals.
IRREGULAR ENTRIES
No results would be issued to candidates who sit for papers for which they have not been registered.
However, if you register for a paper and your name does not appear on the Marks and Attendance Sheet, report to the supervisor, who has been authorized to take appropriate action. If you have been entered for the wrong paper(s) or your name is mis-spelt, you must let the supervisor know immediately to effect correction.
Multiple/double Registration (registering for two or more trades at the same time) would be invalidated.
PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH
Scan and upload your coloured passport photograph with red background and with a dimension of 2cm x 1.5cm. Use of Webcam passport is not allowed.
ADMISSION NOTICE FORM
Candidates must download the admission print out and bring same to the examination hall for all the papers registered for.
PERSONAL DATA
You are required to supply your personal information which includes: First Name, Middle Name and Surname e.g. “Muyiwa Emeka Yakubu, Address, Date of Birth and Gender information.
MULTIPLE ENTRIES
A candidate is expected to enroll for only one trade. Multiple Entries would be invalidated.
TRADE, TRADE-RELATED AND TRADE COMPONENTS
a. Examination centres must not register candidates for trades for which their centres were not approved. Colleges/schools which do not adhere strictly to this would have their entries invalidated in the affected subjects.
b. Except for candidates enroling for General Education all other candidates can only enrol for any of the subjects listed against their trades.
EXAMINATION FEES
a. The registration for:
i. Nov/Dec NBC/NTC/General Education is N10,500 per candidate
ii. Nov/Dec ANBC/ANTC is N12,250 per candidate.
b. The registration fees cover examination fee, result checking, biometric registration, e-learning and information VCD.
c. Late registration will attract a penalty of N5,000.00 per candidate.

In all correspondences, the candidate must state:
a. His/her full name
b. Examination number
c. Year of examination/series
d. Examination centre
e. Trade/subject name/code.

VISUALLY-CHALLENGED CANDIDATES
Visually-challenged candidates would also register on-line but must clearly state the nature of their challenges.
Privilege should be given to all Albinos who will be writing the Examinations:
For Objective – Extra 10 Minutes.
For Practical – Extra 20 Minutes.

Offa Poly Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost, registration deadline and other relevant information for 2018/2019 academic session have been announced. Cut-off mark is 150. Cost is N2000. Deadline is August. Screning holds 13 - 17 August. Details below;
This is to inform candidates who choose Federal Polytechnic, Offa in the 2018 JAMB UTME that the screening will hold from Monday 13th to Friday 17th August, 2018, in the Polytechnic Main Campus, Offa-Ojoku Road, Offa, Kwara State.
Details are as follows:

All Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2018 JAMB UTME and who made Federal Polytechnic, Offa as their First Choice Institution are expected to participate in the screening exercise.

B. REGISTRATION AND SCREENING PROCEDURE

All applicants for screening are to visit http://portal.fpo.edu.ng, and make payment of N2, 000 with an ATM card that is interswitch compatible between Monday 23rd July to Thursday 16th August, 2018.

Fill required information, including O’level result(s), upload scanned copies of result(s)/certificate(s), state of origin and birth certificate and print out screening summary report. Candidates are required to come with Original and photocopy(s) of their SSCE results to the screening venue.

C. Please note that any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission in the Polytechnic, and any false submission during the online registration for screening will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate at any time so discovered.

Registration for Online screening of candidates for admission into undergraduate programmes of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola for the 2018/2019 academic session has been scheduled as follows:
The platform will be opened for online registration from Monday, 23rd July, 2018 – Friday, 10th August, 2018.
Candidates who chose Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola as their MOST Preferred Choice of institution (First Choice) are advised to register and submit their documents online (No physical presence is required please) through our website www.mautech.edu.ng .

Eligibility
A. Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 points in UTME Exams and have five relevant O’level credits (including Mathematics and English language) are eligible to register into 100 level.
B. Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit in Diploma or Merit grade in NCE from a recognized tertiary institution and have five relevant O’ level credits (including Mathematics and English language) are eligible to register into 200 level.

Procedure for Payment and Registration

ii. Follow the details as displayed;
iii. You will be required to pay N2, 000.00 for the Registration.

Application Steps
1. You are to visit the University website www.mautech.edu.ng and then click on 2018/2019 Apply now link, and click on ‘new applicant’.
2. Enter your name, JAMB No., valid email address and phone number (ensure that it is your email and phone number, it will be used in subsequent communication with you).
3. Click on ‘submit’
4. Login page will be displayed for you.
5. Use your JAMB No as your username and password to log in.
6. You will be redirected to REMITA payment platform to make payment.
7. Chose a payment option ( i.e. using ATM Card or Bank):
a. ATM Card Payment Option:
 Click ‘proceed to payment’ icon
 Select card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
 Enter your Card details and ATM PIN No. and ‘submit’
 OTP confirmatory code will be sent to your phone/email to confirm your transaction.
 FINALLY, enter the sent OTP code to complete your transaction.
 N2, 000.00 will be deducted from your account.
 After completing the payment, you will be taken to the registration platform to proceed with your registration.
b. Bank Payment Option:
 Click ‘proceed to payment’ icon
 Select Bank;
 Enter your details as required and ‘submit’
 Print the e-invoice containing the Remita Reference No. and take to any Commercial Bank and pay the sum of two thousand (N2,000.00).
 A payment receipt will be generated for you from the bank.
 Logon to MAUTECH website again, select 2018/2019 POST UTME link, select existing applicant and enter your JAMB No as username and password. You will be taken to the registration platform to proceed with registration.
8. CHOICE OF PROGRAMME: You are required to select the choice of your programme of study from the list of available programmes.
9. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
i) You are expected to enter not more than two sittings of your O’level Examination results with their centres/examination numbers
ii) In addition to the above, DE applicants are expected to enter institution and class of diploma/statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A level).
10. UPLOADING OF PASSPORT/DOCUMENTS:
a.) You are required to upload your recent passport photograph that is very clear and with a plain red background. The picture should be in JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size.
b.) Upload Scanned Copies of the following Documents (the documents should not exceed 100kb each):
i. JAMB Result Slip for UTME/JAMB Acknowledgement Slip for DE
ii. O' Level Result(s); two sittings maximum
iii. A Level Result (ND/HND/NCE/IJMB)
iv. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age

11. SUBMISSION APPLICATION:
After filling/uploading all the necessary information/Certificates, you are advised to cross check and ensure that all entries/uploads are correct. You should then submit the application by clicking on the 'Submit application’ button.
12. PRINTING OF APPLICATION FORM:
After successful submission of your application, your application page is displayed. Your JAMB Registration Number is your Application ID (Password) as well as your login Username. You may wish to print your application form by Clicking on the ‘Print Application’ button.
