NECO TIME TABLE FOR JUNE/JULY EXAM IS OUT!!!!!

Here is the official NECO time table for June/July 2016. We have simplified it by putting it in this form so that mobile users can view it better than when it is in a tabular form. I think we have posted this before but we still get queries about it from many readers. I even asked one of them how she had been searching for the NECO Timetable, she said she typed “www 2016 neco time table com”. Well, that’s really strange and funny. It’s easier when you use search terms that include “neco”, “time table”, the months (june/july) and year (2016).
neco-logo3
For example, complete neco time table 2016, when will neco time table be out, neco time table for 2016 examination june/july, NECO Time Table For June/July 2016 would have given you better result instead of searching for “www 2012 neco time table com”.

ts Public Relations Officer, Dr Fabian Benjamin who promulgate this to newsmen said: “JAMB will officially publish the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), cut-off marks for universities and polytechnics in June.” He urged candidates of the 2016 UTME to ignore the cut-off marks from some websites and social media, stating that those cut-off marks were just the imagination of people.
Having gone through the rigour of UTME examinations in the past weeks, candidates seeking admission in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education are expecting JAMB cut-off marks which will give candidates next line of action.
For any student to participate in post-UTME of the institutions of first and second choice, such candidate must beat JAMB 2016 cut-off mark, institution’s of first choice cut-off mark, and departmental cut-off mark. To JAMB, the cut-off point for university and polytechnics are determined every year by the candidates’ over all performance. Apart from JAMB setting entrance cut-off points for university and polytechnic applicants, each institution, also has its cut-off point for students seeking admission in the school.

UNILORIN TO ADMIT MORE CANDIDATES THIS YEAR IF.......

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali (OON), last Wednesday (March 30, 2016) disclosed that the institution is determined to admit more students in the next academic session subject to the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for an increase in its admission quota.
Prof. Ambali made this known while featuring on a Radio Nigeria, Harmony FM, Idofian current affairs programme, “Our Guest”.
For some time now, the ratio of admitted students to the number of applicants has been a serious concern to universities in the country, admission seekers and their parents.
For instance, out of the more than 103, 000 candidates that applied to study in the University of Ilorin in the 2015/2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), only 11, 057 could be admitted due to the low admission quota granted the most subscribed university by the regulatory bodies.
Fielding questions on the radio programme, Prof. Ambali noted that the management of the University was seriously worried that most Nigerian youths cannot gain admission into their choice institutions due to the low carrying capacity of Nigerian universities.
While commenting on the rumour that the University of Ilorin had released its cut-off marks for the 2016/2017 admission exercise, the Vice-Chancellor disclosed that no institution in Nigeria will announce its cut-off mark until the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) determine the national cut-off marks.
Prof. Ambali said that the University of Ilorin would only announce its cut-off marks after the meeting of all tertiary education institutions in the country with the NUC and JAMB.
He, however, warned desperate admission seekers to be wary of scammers, as the University of Ilorin’s admission is not for sale. He said that the University management has devised a very stiff punishment for any of its staff that is caught engaging in such dirty deal.
